16-Black Are Regional Champions


16-Black players Lauren Curtis and Taliah Robertson blocking at Prime Time

SEATTLE, WA - 4/27/06
WVBA 16-Black went 16-0 on Saturday and Sunday to become the 2006 16 & Under Puget Sound Region Champions. 16-Black defeated Blue Ice 16-1 Mukilteo in the finals.

WVBA 16-Red finished 1st in the Bronze Division Sunday.

WVBA 15-Black finished 2nd in Gold after falling to KJ 15 Baden in the finals.

All other Academy teams will compete in their regional championships the May 6-7 weekend.

Far Westerns JO Qualifier
All eight Academy teams will be in Reno this weekend for the Far Westerns Junior Olympics Qualifier.

Far Westerns begins on Friday and runs through Sunday. Results will be posted live through the tournament website so you can follow our progress. We have five teams competing in open divisions and three teams playing in club division.
