SEATTLE, WA--Oct. 4, 2009
WVBA is very happy to announce the dates for the 2009 fall youth volleyball clinic series. WVBA staff will host four 2-hour training sessions in October for players currently in grades 6-8.

These clinics will run from 2:30-4:30 over four consecutive Sundays beginning on October 4th and ending with the session on October 25th. These clinics will feature some of the top Academy coaches and will focus on skill development. All four clinics will be held at the Former Woodway High School (Edmonds Homeschool Resource Center) at 23200 - 100th St. NE in Edmonds.

We are limited to 40 players for these clinics and preference will be given to players able to attend all four clinic sessions. These fall clinics are very popular and will fill quickly. All registration is handled online through this website.

Registration is now closed as we have filled all sessions to the maximum number of players. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list, please email us now.

We're sorry if you didn't get a chance to register before we filled up. We will be having a spring youth league targeted to boys and girls in the 4th-6th grades.

2010 Team Line-up
WVBA will host seven teams again for the 2009-10 club season. We will form the following teams:

Mizuno 18 (mostly 2010)
Mizuno 17 (mostly 2011)
Mizuno 16 (mostly 2012)
Mizuno 16-Gold (2012-2013)
Mizuno 15 (mostly 2013)
Mizuno 14 (mostly 2014)
Mizuno 13 (mostly 2015)

2010 Coaching Line-up
We are finalizing the coaching line-up for the 2010 season and expect to announce the coaching assignments by mid-October.

Bianca Rowland at UW
2008 WVBA alumna Bianca Rowland is off to a great start at the University of Washington in her second season for the Pac-10 powerhouse. Through last week she was ranked 2nd in the nation in hitting percentage, #1 in the Pac-10. Bianca lead the Huskies again tonight in a 3-0 sweep of #7 Oregon in Eugene to open the Pac-10 season with a stellar .545 hitting percentage. 13s-14s Tryout Dates
We are happy to announce our tryout dates for the Mizuno 13 and Mizuno 14 teams for the 2009-10 season.

We will be holding tryouts for our two youngest teams on Sunday, November 8th from 1:30pm-4:30pm.

The tryouts will be held at Shorecrest High School located at 15343 - 25th Ave NE in Shoreline.

Before choosing to audition for one of our WVBA teams, please review some of our club policies and philosophies, especially the policies related to playing time and GPA minimums.

Registration for tryouts will open on or about October 1st.

15s-18s Tryout Dates
We will be holding our tryouts for the five older teams on the weekend of November 21-22.
