WVBA Wins 3rd Regional Title


WVBA Mizuno 16 Celebrate after Regionals Final Win over UPVBC

SEATTLE, WA - May 17, 2008
WVBA Wins Regionals x 3
WVBA posted wins in three age divisions at PSR Regionals. WVBA Mizuno 18, Mizuno 16, and Mizuno 14 won titles in the U18, U16, and U14 age categories respectively.

WVBA Mizuno 18 defeated ITVBC 18 Under Armour in the finals. The Academy 18s will be headed to JOs in Dallas to compete in the Club National Division. Next weekend WVBA 18s will play in the 18 Open Division at the Emerald City Classic tournament that WVBA will host at the University of Washington.

WVBA Mizuno 18-Red finished 3rd in the Silver Division at PSR Regionals. 18-Red will be playing in the 18 Club Division at the Emerald City Classic next weekend.

WVBA Mizuno 16 had to beat UPVBC twice on their way to winning the U16 division title. The Academy 16s will be heading to the JVDA Championship in Louisville in June. Next weekend the Academy 16s will be playing in the 16 Open Division at the ECC at UW.

WVBA Mizuno 15 nearly forced an All Academy final by taking UPVBC to 3 in the semi-final to finish 3rd in the U16 Division at PSR Regionals. Mizuno 15 will be headed to JOs in Dallas to compete in the Club American Division. Next weekend the Academy 15s will compete in 16 Open at the Emerald City Classic.

WVBA Mizuno 14 beat Puget Sound 14 Gold to win the U14 Regional Championship. Mizuno 14 will be heading to JOs in Dallas to compete in the Club National Division. This weekend Mizuno 14 finished 3rd in 16 Gold at the OPVBC 16 Tournament at the Kitsap Pavlilion. They will play in 14 Open at the upcoming ECC next week.

WVBA Mizuno 14-Red will be heading to the JVDA Championship in Louisville, KY in late June. Red finished 5th in 16 Gold on Saturday at the OPVBC 16 tournament in Bremerton. Next weekend 14-Red will be playing in the 14 Open Division at the Emerald City Classic at the University of Washington.
